For club directors

You run a club,
not a help desk.

Every tournament day is a long list of small facts, and most of them currently live in a chat, an email and your head. My Volley Way holds them against the event — so the same answer reaches every family without you sending it.

Setup

An evening, not a season.

Teams, rosters, your season's events and your people. You can do the whole thing in a sitting, and you can do it in September — nothing here waits on a schedule being posted.

Teams and rosters

Type them in, paste a roster straight from a spreadsheet, or upload a CSV. Parent emails come across with the players, so invitations are ready the moment the team is.

One event, several teams

Add a tournament once and assign every team attending. The shared details — venue, hotel, policies, dates — are entered a single time.

Your people

Coaches set their own password from a link, so nobody is handed credentials. Parents and players join by invite, and a bounced email never blocks it.

If your events run on a tournament platform, there's an importer that pulls teams and rosters across so you aren't typing them twice. It's a shortcut, not a requirement — and it's safe to run more than once, because anything you already have is skipped.

Before a single schedule exists

Pencil in every event you've entered — name, dates, teams attending — and save. Families see them as upcoming straight away, and your own list marks which are still just planned. Your club runs on practices, rosters and announcements in the meantime.

As the details firm up — call time, court, venue, hotel, ref duty — they land on the event you already created. Nothing is re-entered, and each one reaches families the moment you save it rather than in a weekly round-up nobody reads twice.

The week before an event

See what families can't see yet.

A readiness board lists every event in the next fortnight and, per team, exactly what's still missing — no call time, no venue, no hotel. Each gap is a button that opens the form at the field that fixes it.

  • Court conflicts between two of your own teams, flagged before the day.
  • Gym closed? Cancel a night's practices across the club in one go.
  • Invites that don't depend on email — copy a family's join link and text it.
  • Coaches set their own password from a link; nobody is handed credentials.

Your club's identity

It looks like your club, not like ours.

Set your colours and upload your logo, and every screen your families see is painted with them. Result colours — win, loss, live — stay fixed across every club, because those carry meaning rather than branding.

If a colour you pick would make its own button text unreadable, the save is refused and the app tells you the contrast ratio and a nearby colour that works. A club can't accidentally brand itself into an unusable app.

What you can see that nobody else can

Club-wide, not team-by-team.

Performance

Match and set records across every team, with a drill-down into each tournament. Computed from the match rows, so it can't drift.

Season analytics

Point margins, close-set and deciding-set records, comebacks versus collapses, pool versus bracket. Thin metrics stay hidden until there's enough data.

Trends, not just totals

Running match and set win rate over the season, and a set-by-set view showing where a team fades within a match.

Deliberately not included: player-level statistics. Rates always show their denominator, so a 100% that came from one match reads like one.

Set it up at tryouts, not the night before.

Bring in your teams, pencil in the season, and invite your families. The schedules find their own way in later.
